Natural Matter has great pleasure in introducing Absolute Aromas Melissa Type Oil 10ml . Melissa is one of the most adulterated and copied essential oils and genuine Melissa oil makes up only a small fraction of the amount that is sold commercially. Absolute Aromas also stocks a True Melissa but, as the cost is so prohibitive, we produce this blend of essential oils to resemble the aroma. The blend includes Lemon, Lemongrass and Citronella among others.
As this oil is already a blend, it makes an ideal diffusing oil in its own right. However, it complements Cedarwood, Rosemary, Geranium, Lavender, Ylang Ylang or the spice oils. For a refreshing, cleansing aroma, try 5 drops of Melissa Type with 2 drops of Rosemary in a burner or diffuser. For a smoother, more floral aroma, try 2 drops of Geranium with 4 drops of Melissa Type or 3 drops of Lavender with 4 drops of Melissa Type.
As its components are oils high in insect-repellent chemicals, Melissa Type is also very good at keeping flying pests at bay.
